How does restorative dentistry restore teeth?
Restorative dentistry replaces or rebuilds damaged and missing teeth using crowns, bridges, inlays/onlays, and dental implants. At Westborough Dental Care most permanent crowns are designed and milled in-office on the same visit using CEREC technology — no temporary, no second appointment, and no goopy impression material. Dental implants are planned digitally using our in-house Cone Beam CT scanner and placed with a surgical guide for higher precision.
How long it takes: Same-day CEREC crowns are placed in roughly 90 minutes start-to-finish. Implant treatment is typically a multi-visit workflow over 3–6 months including healing time. See our fees for crown, implant, and bridge UCR pricing.
