We are proud to provide Invisalign® to our community. Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets — proven across clinical research and orthodontic practices nationwide.
How does Invisalign treatment work?
Invisalign uses a series of custom clear aligners worn at least 22 hours per day, replaced every two weeks to gradually shift teeth into their planned position. Most adult treatments take 9 to 15 months. At Westborough Dental Care we capture a 3D digital impression using the iTero scanner — no traditional impression material — and Invisalign returns a multi-stage treatment plan we walk through with you before starting.
What it costs: Adult Invisalign comprehensive orthodontics starts at $6,500 UCR. Many PPO dental plans include partial orthodontic coverage — call us to verify your specific benefits.

How it works
How treatment works
A typical Invisalign plan runs 9 to 15 months. Here is the pattern most patients follow.

Step 1
1. Digital scan & treatment plan
We use our iTero scanner to capture your bite in 3D — no goopy impressions. The scan is sent to Invisalign for a custom multi-stage plan.

Step 2
2. Wear each set for two weeks
You receive your aligners in a series. Each set gradually moves your teeth toward the planned position. Wear them at least 22 hours per day.

Step 3
3. Remove only to eat, drink, brush, floss
Aligners come out for meals and oral hygiene. No food restrictions like with traditional braces.

Step 4
4. Visit every 6 weeks for a check
Quick progress check, swap to the next set in the series, and confirm everything is moving as planned.

Step 5
5. Retention
After treatment, a retainer keeps your new smile in place. We provide a final scan + retainer plan as part of every Invisalign treatment.
